Trip cancellation is covered if you're hospitalised due to a covered illness within 60 days before departure, or other insured causes.

Once your flight is delayed for 4 hours due to insured conditions, your benefit kicks in. Keep your flight / travel itinerary safe.

Get confirmation from the airline
The airline (or transport operator) must give you a written confirmation, with duration and reason of delay. A photo of the delay screen helps too.

Every extra 6 hours = more payout
For every 6 hours after the first 4, you’ll get an additional payout (up to your plan limit).
